The Maui Chamber Orchestra and Chorus
joined by the Cornell University Chamber Singers of Ithaca, New York present Joseph Haydn’s last major work, the powerful and radiant
Harmoniemesse (Hob. XXII:14).

Scored for full orchestra, organ, chorus, and soloists, “Harmoniemesse” projects a revolutionary (at the time) sense of the musical sublime.
Cornell University Chamber Singers, under the direction of Stephen Spinelli, will open the concert with a selection of works for a cappellachoir.
