PAILOLO BAR & GRILL OPENS EARLY TO TACKLE BREAKFAST WITH NEW SEASONAL SUNDAY MORNING MENU

 Ka’anapali, Hawai’i – To celebrate football season, Pailolo Bar & Grill, the oceanfront sports bar at The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas, has extended its Sunday hours to open at kick-off and has introduced a morning menu. From now through the end of December, guests can watch their favorite football team on one of nine high-definition televisions and enjoy beachside breakfast and cocktails from the beginning of the first game through 10 a.m. Pailolo’s regular lunch and dinner menu will be served from 10:30 a.m. forward.

“Pailolo has become a prime spot to watch sporting events for both visitors and kama’aina alike,” said Brandon Maeda, complex director of food and beverage at The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas. “In Hawaii, our Sunday football tradition involves early mornings and we are thrilled to be a part of the excitement by providing fans with breakfast and beverages.”

Served exclusively on Sundays, Pailolo Bar & Grill’s Griddle Iron Breakfast Menu features Mauka Moco, a twist on the traditional loco moco with tater tots, Wagyu beef patty, mushroom ragu, two farm eggs and green onions; The MVP with Hawaiian sweet bun, sausage patty, scrambled eggs, sharp cheddar and tater tots; Hawaiian Toast with Molokai sweet bread, banana cream and chocolate hazelnut sauce; and Malasadas with peanut butter and guava jelly.

 

Guests can wash breakfast down with a variety of cocktail options including the Double Bacon Hail Mary with Tito’s vodka or Cazadores tequila, bloody mary mix, a bacon salt rim, pickled asparagus and Applewood smoked bacon; the Michelada with light beer, spicy tomato juice and a lime celery salt rim over ice; and the Irish coffee with Jameson whiskey, coffee and whipped cream. Morning happy hour is also available from 8 a.m.–11:30 a.m. with $5 bloody marys, screwdrivers and mimosas.

In addition to the new seasonal Sunday breakfast menu, Pailolo Bar & Grill, home of Maui’s first hotel-owned-and-operated food truck, and winner of “Best Bar” (Silver) and “Best Burger” (Silver) in Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine’s 2016 ‘Aipono Awards, is open daily for lunch and dinner.
